Screen-print transfer combines the quality of screen printing with the versatility of transfer printing. The design is first screen-printed onto special paper and then transferred to the product using heat. This produces intense, flat colours that are highly durable, even on tricky areas or garments that cannot be printed directly.

Digital transfer prints the design in high resolution onto a special transfer paper, which is then applied to the item using heat and pressure. This technique allows complex logos and full-colour photographs to be reproduced with excellent definition, even at small sizes.

• Soft feel on the surface
• Vivid, high-quality colours

Handicaps

• Less durable than direct techniques such as screen printing
• Transfer sheet may wear with heavy washing or friction
• Not recommended for surfaces subjected to continuous wear
