Information about printing techniques
Digital UV:
This is a type of full-colour digital printing which like other types of printing, consists of applying ink to the surface. What sets this personalisation apart from the rest is that the drying is practically immediate thanks to the fact that the machinery has an LED that produces a burst of ultraviolet (UV) light. Therefore, it has the great advantage that the printing time is shorter than other techniques, while maintaining the possibility of an attractive final finish.
Laser:
Laser engraving is a personalisation technique that uses a beam of light to burn the surface of an object. As the name suggests, the logo is engraved, and the item’s original colour is not retained. The advantages of this technique include its cost-effectiveness, its ability to provide a more formal and polished finish, its precision, and its durability, as it is very difficult to damage. The materials best suited for this type of marking are metal and wood, although some ceramic and glass containers are also designed to accommodate it.
Digital Transfer:
Digital transfer is a printing technique that allows you to print a logo in full colour as well as photographs. For this, a special paper containing the image is used and by ironing, it is transferred to the article. This is intended for textile items such as bags, backpacks or T-shirts. The great advantage of this alternative is that it uses a type of ink that is more resistant to washing than traditional inks. However, it is always advisable to use cleaning programmes that are not too aggressive and to avoid ironing over the image. In this way, the design will remain in good condition for a long time.
Screen Transfer :
Screen transfer involves printing using heat to apply screen-printing inks that have been deposited onto paper. While conventional screen printing applies the ink directly through the mesh, the use of a heat press and transfer paper allows for more intricate designs and greater adaptability to different surfaces. This technique is particularly suited for textile merchandise such as T-shirts, caps, backpacks, or bags. Although more expensive than traditional screen printing, the final result is more visually appealing, especially for logos with a wide range of colours.
