Screen printing is a printing technique in which ink is pushed through a mesh stretched over a frame, with areas that should not be printed blocked off. It is ideal for logos with few colours and defined shapes, and is very cost-effective for large quantities on flat surfaces such as bags, folders, or T-shirts.

Handicaps

• Not suitable for printing photographs or gradients
• Limited number of colours

Digital transfer prints the design in high resolution onto a special transfer paper, which is then applied to the item using heat and pressure. This technique allows complex logos and full-colour photographs to be reproduced with excellent definition, even at small sizes.

• Soft feel on the surface
• Vivid, high-quality colours

Handicaps

• Less durable than direct techniques such as screen printing
• Transfer sheet may wear with heavy washing or friction
• Not recommended for surfaces subjected to continuous wear
